MPTA Provides Relief to Flood Affected Trainees, Families
MPTA Education Ltd recently reached out to trainees and their families from flood-affected areas of Sangli, Kolhapur districts in Maharashtra and Belgaum district in Karnataka. As a first phase of this relief work, grocery kits was handed over to affected families.
After heavy rains lashed several parts of Maharashtra, many cities and rural regions were faced with severe flood situation. Sangli , Kolhapur, Belgaum regions were affected the most and for many days. A large number of trainees associated with MPTA’s On-The-Job & DDUGKY Training were also impacted with this natural disaster. These trainees and their families needed support. Taking this need into consideration, MPTA Education Ltd decided to reach out to all trainees. MPTA’s staff also voluntarily pitched in the relief work.
Grocery Kits Distributed
MPTA identified trainees and their families who are severely affected by the flood. A team of our employees personally visited their homes to provide grocery kit and other essential items to their families.
Staff Contributes Voluntarily
A team of faculty members and student coordinators from MPTA raised an amount to help the flood affected families. This amount was collected through personal contribution of employees and was utilized to provide food, medicines and other essentials for the residents. Our employees have also extended support for NGOs which are carrying cleaning activities to ensure hygiene in the flood-affected areas
