Training Collaboration Agreement with TATA HITACHI
The JIM program has launched at Tata Hitachi, Dharwad on 8th December 2017. Mr. Shahid Ashraf, Head HR, Tata Hitachi handed over the letter of training collaboration agreement to Mr. Sheshadri Bhirdikar, Director, MPTA.
It was indeed an honour and a great privilege to join our efforts with Hitachi Construction Machinery Company Ltd. and Tata Hitachi Construction Company Pvt. Ltd. to take the Skill India Mission forward.
India’s Hon. PM Mr. Narendra Modi and Hon. PM of Japan, Mr. Shinzo Abe decided to cooperate on the human resource development in the manufacturing sector in India through "Manufacturing Skill Transfer Promotion Programme.” This programme will enhance the manufacturing base of India and contribute to "Make in India” and "Skill India,” through training 30,000 persons over next 10 years with Japanese style manufacturing skills and practices through the establishment of the Japan-India Institutes for Manufacturing (JIM) and the Japanese Endowed Courses (JEC) in engineering colleges designated by Japanese companies in India in cooperation between the public and private sectors.
